The Department of Tourism (DOT) commissioned Makati Skyline, Inc. as Food and Beverage Consultants to develop an exclusive TRAVEL CAFÉ PHILIPPINES® Core Menu. Makati Skyline, Inc. is a respected name in the Philippine food and beverage industry with over 25 years of experience. (Makati Skyline is now known as ISS Makati Skyline, Inc.)
The TRAVEL CAFÉ PHILIPPINES® Core Menu standardizes selected food and beverage items for all TCP’s, here and abroad. The Core Menu items were chosen based on their popular appeal, the availability of ingredients abroad, easy preparation, and adaptation to international tastes.
The TCP Menu was created with two essential elements:
1. A Food Menu that is reflective of traditional Filipino cuisine, yet adapted for a “Specialist Lifestyle Cafe” and for the international market in terms of ingredients, preparation, and taste;
2. A Beverage Menu that exclusively promotes organic, Fair Trade Philippine Coffee as the “Core Beverage” with a range of beverages inspired by the varied ingredients, herbs, and flavors found only in the Philippines. .: Back to Top :.
